New photos of the super rare DBS GT Zagato spotted recently in London
Excited about the first programme in the new series of ‘For the Love of Cars’ – 20.00 Channel 4 – tonight. The subject of tonight’s programme is the restoration of a classic DBS, until recently, the Cinderella of the marque. Also featured is the DBS driven by Roger Moore in the ‘The Persuaders!’
Launched in 2011 as a follow up to the Carbon Black DBS, the Carbon Edition DBS was available in with coachwork other than black. This example is finished in the rare colour of Flame Orange. The DBS Carbon Edition page has been updated today with previously unseen photos.
What with the DBR1 and DBR2 being such very rare cars, it is hardly surprising that enthusiasts have copies or replicas made from donor Aston Martins such as the inexpensive DBS. This new page features just such a car. An homage to one of the most beautiful racing sports cars of the 1950’s.

I have just found the photos from there Geneva Motor Show in 2010 of the Mansory Cyrus. This is a highly uprated DB9 from the German car modifiers. Not to every bodies liking but this site has quite a passion for the rarer and more unusual Aston Martins.
For four year, the hero car of the Aston Martin range was the DBS and it’s rarer convertible brother, the DBS Volante. The page featuring this quite spectacular and desirable car has been updated with many new and unpublished photographs.
The famous DBS from ‘The Persuaders!’ as driven by Roger Moore has recently been sold for a record price at the 2014 Bonhams Aston Martin sale.
