There are now photographs added of the rare and numbered DB9 Sport Edition. This 2012MY car was the last of the first generation of the DB9 and was only available in North America during 2012.

Can you believe that it was 10 years ago since we first saw the DB9 Volante. I have been digging in my files and have found plenty of previously unseen pictures to fill a revised page on the most popular of the drop-top Aston Martins.

Is you thought the DB9 had been around for a while, are you aware of the latest version based using the 4th generation of VH architecture. The ‘new’ DB9 is arguably the most complete car in the range with over 500 bhp from the AM11 V12 engine, Carbon Ceramic brakes and the latest Adapitive Damping System offering the choice of three modes.

The DB9 Centenary Edition has become the third model of this years most have special edition. It was unveiled at the start of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and joins the Vanquish and Rapide S which were first shown earlier in the year.

The page featuring the DB9 MY2011 coupe has been updated with a few more photographs of this scarce model. As buyers were more tempted by the 2011 Rapide and DBS and a little later, the Virage, demand for the DB9 dipped for a while until the new Gen4 DB9 was introduced in 2012.

No excuses needed to tell you that we have added new images of the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial. The Spyder has recently been seen on the Concept Lawn during the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegence; quite easily the most desirable new Aston Martin of this Centenary Year.
