To coincide with the 1964 James Bond 007 film, Goldfinger, Corgi introduced one of if not the greatest toy cars of all time. The gold coloured DB5, complete with all the gadgets including the ejector seat, sold in vast numbers becoming the first Aston Martin for a generation of schoolboys. It has sold in various forms ever since and is still popular to this day.
