Built 25 years ago but only now has this unique car the V8 Long Wheelbase saloon been seen in public. Now at long last, I can add it to this site.
A real highlight of the Kensington Palace Aston Martin Centenary Timeline, marking the 100 years of the company, was the debut of two unique coachbuilt Zagatos, the DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial and the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial. The association between the two companies began over 50 years ago and Aston Zagatos are always outstanding and sometimes a little challenging too.

Way back in the early 1970’s, Aston Martin scored a coup when the DBSV8 was chosen to star in the new TV Series called ‘The Persuaders!’. Well it wasn’t actually a DBSV8 as all were allocated to excited customers. Aston were only able to supply a regular 6 cylinder DBS in Bahama Yellow with GKN alloy wheels to resemble their current ‘hero’ car. This is a totally new page with new and unpublished photographs.
