At Monterey Car Week in 2013, Aston Martin showed a DB9 Volante especially built by 'Q by Aston Martin' with a distinctive and unique look and embodied the calm palette and evocative imagery of the SoCal lifestyle. Developed along a nautical theme and taking the clean lines of a superyacht as inspiration with Morning Frost Satin coachwork and bright metal detailing. The interior featured rich Pearl White semi-aniline and Aurora Blue leather evoking the colour of the Pacific coast.
