Some may think that we shouldn’t give this full sized Lego model a page of it’s own but we have. The reason is that it was made with the full approval and cooperation of Aston Martin and therefore it’s included. Indeed, the company even supplied genuine wings badges and a wood rimmed steering wheel. It’s cut away at one side so visitors to the Lego Shop in London’s Leicester Square are able to get behind the wheel and have photos taken.

Although it’s fixed to the spot and probably weighs an awful lot, the 1:1 scale model has many working elements. The registration plates rotate, the lights work and there are sound effects triggered by buttons on the dashboard. The horn works too.

The DB5 was especially built to promote a ‘Speed Champions’ model of the DB5 available worldwide. This is Lego’s second DB5 following larger model with working ejector seat. Lego also have made small models of the Valkyrie AMR Pro and Vantage GT3.
