There has been a major update of the DB7 section with many new photographs of previously unseen cars.
The Vantage GT12 is probably the most desirable Aston Martin of the year. Limited to just 100 production cars, each one is extremely rare and desirable, but this week, we have just discovered and photographed a new sub-model, The GT12 Gulf Edition.
Prior to the introduction of the Supercharged Vantage, Aston Martin offered existing owners of the Virage an extensive (and expensive) performance conversion to 6.3 litre specification. The £50,000 conversion (at 1992 prices) also involved extensive changes to the suspension, brakes, wheels, tyres and bodywork to cope with the additional power and torque. Ever thought about what happens to prototypes after Aston Martin have finished with them? Well just occasionally they are sold on to race car enthusiasts.
