V12 Vanquish S page updated

In 2004, when AML announced the 200 mph V12 Vanquish S, it was hailed as the Ultimate Aston Martin. Even 10 years on, the last car built at the factory in Newport Pagnell is as highly regarded as ever. The page featuring the S has been revised, updated and has previously unpublished photographs.

DBRS9 prototype page updated

Aston Martin Racing took the opportunity to unveil the DBRS9 on their stand within the paddock at Le Mans, just a couple of days before the 73rd running of the 24 hour race, 16th/17th June 2005. Many new images added.

V12 Vanquish Sport Dynamic Pack

The rare and desirable V12 Vanquish SDP was only available for a few months in 2004 before being replaced by the faster and more powerful V12 Vanquish S. The SDP page has been revised with some previously unpublished pictures.

Rapide Concept, page update

Back in 2006, Aston Martin unveiled the Rapide Concept, the first production 4 door Aston Martin since the 15/98 Saloon in 1936. The page featuring the Rapide has been updated with a number of previously unpublished photographs from the 2006 Geneva Motor Show.

The 6 cylinder DBS page has had a makeover this week with loads of new images added. This popular starter ‘classic’ Aston Martin is strongly tipped to be the model to watch following the huge increase in values of the DB4, DB5 and DB6 in recent years.

Can you believe that it was 10 years ago since we first saw the DB9 Volante. I have been digging in my files and have found plenty of previously unseen pictures to fill a revised page on the most popular of the drop-top Aston Martins.

AMV8 Vantage, the car that introduced us to the Modern Era

Back it 2003, AML showed us the future of the marque. The AMV8 Vantage was unveiled to the world at the Detroit Motor Show and as we all know, went on to be developed into the popular V8 Vantage which is still in production today. What many people are still unaware of is that the concept was actually built in India by a specialist company based on a 1999 DB7 Vantage Volante compete with V12 engine. We had no idea that the AMV8 Vantage was actually the first V12 Vantage. I have just scanned my negatives from 2003, many of the images have not been seen before.

DBS Centenary Graffiti Car, new page added

For five days only during Centenary week, Aston Martin actively encouraged factory guests to write birthday messages on a DBS V12. Not a brand new car you understand, but a prototype from 2007. The eventual fate of the car is currently unknown.
