The V8 Vantage (VH2) is the most popular Aston Martin of all time. But have you ever wondered what Aston Martin were building 90 years ago? The S-type sports 2 seater really is the 1920’s equivalent to today’s Vantage. And on this page are photos of the oldest unrestored example, almost exactly as it was first built.
The S-type Sports 2 seater shown here is one of the earliest cars from the Bertelli era. It was the first production short chassis model, chassis number TS10 and is the third oldest Bertelli Aston Martin known in running order. New photographs added today from the The Quail, A Motorsports gathering in 2013.
