DBS Carbon Edition

Launched in 2011 as a follow up to the Carbon Black DBS, the Carbon Edition DBS was available in with coachwork other than black. This example is finished in the rare colour of Flame Orange. The DBS Carbon Edition page has been updated today with previously unseen photos.

From 2007 to 2012, the halo car of the Aston Martin range was a DBS. Initially just a 2 seater with manual transmission, it later developed into a 2+2 and gained optional Touchtronic 2 transmission. The page featuring this important car in the history of AML has just been updated today.

A scarce DB9

A scarce DB9

The page featuring the DB9 MY2011 coupe has been updated with a few more photographs of this scarce model. As buyers were more tempted by the 2011 Rapide and DBS and a little later, the Virage, demand for the DB9 dipped for a while until the new Gen4 DB9 was introduced in 2012.

Finally seen an AMR-One

Having been unable to be at Le Mans in 2010, I missed one of only two possible opertunities to photograph the AMR-One, the LMP1 racecar that was just a little too ahead of it’s time. No worries, thankfully one was displayed in Parc Prive during the Aston Martin Centenary Celebrations in Kensington Palace during July 2013.
