AstonMartins.com 10th Birthday
- 21/03/2008It’s hard to believe but this website has been in existence for 10 years. So to celebrate the 10th birthday, I’ve got plenty of revised pages and new pictures to delight you with. Can I take this opportunity to thank every visitor for your support, without you, it wouldn’t be so much fun.
So much has changed in the last 10 years
- 17/02/2008digital SLR’s have replaced the film cameras, high-speed broadband has replaced the old dial up (I was stuck with that for 7 years) and little by little my knowledge has increased along with my photographic skills. BUT throughout the last 10 years, I’ve stuck to one very basic principle – that is wherever possible, to only use pictures I have taken myself. I’ve been very fortunate to have seen almost all of the key cars that AM have made, seen a new factory open and two others close, witnessed AM competing and winning again at Le Mans and travelled widely too. And for all those key cars I’m yet see photograph, I’ll no doubt spend the rest of my life catching up with them one by one. It’s a hell of a challenge, but someone’s got to do it
Happy New Year A real treat for 2008
