VP1, the first verification prototype Valkyrie was first seen in public during demonstration laps in the lead up to the 2019 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. On this occasion, the driver was Aston Martin High Performance Test Driver Chris Goodwin. It was further tested by the 2020 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1 drivers Max Verstappen and Alex Albon at a chilly Silverstone during February 2020. Also seen in the footage shot and released from the day was two further verification prototypes, VP2 and VP3. In total it is believed that 8 VP cars were constructed, all of which were eventually rebuilt into production specification customer cars.
