As if if to underline the sports car claim, AM entered a mildly modified pre-production Rapide into the 2010, ADAC Nurburgring 24-hour Race. In the hands of Dr Bez, Chris Porritt and Matthew Marsh, the Rapide achieved 34th overall and 2nd in class.
