I have been extremely fortunate to have exclusive access to an early pre-production One-77 in June 2009 at the Design Centre at Gaydon. Very few people have had the opertunity to take pictures like this and for that, I’m extremely grateful to my friends at the company for this opportunity.

The measured unveiling of the One-77 stretched over a few months. The low key announcement, the mock up covered with suit fabric, the slowly updated web site and then the full mock up at Geneva. As the knowledge grew, so did the anticipation and expectation. Then, at long last and unexpectidly, the One-77 world debut occured in late April 2009, where the car was shown at the Concorso d’Eleganza on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, winning the Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes.
