Nowadays, Aston Martins with specification unique to individual dealers are still built (DB7 Stratstone,V8 Vantage V400) but these only differ from standard production cars by colour/trim and options fitted.
(Long Chassis, 1934 - 1935)
Lance Prideaux-Brune, owner of Winter Garden Garages, the London distributor for Aston Martin, specially commissioned Enrico Bertelli to produce special drophead coupe bodywork for a long chassis Mark II. This car (BGF 560), the cream car shown above and below, was so attractive that another six 'replicas' were also produced for other customers. These cars were never featured in any Aston Martin literature and were available exclusively through Winter Garden Garages at a price of £710.
