What's New @ AstonMartins.com ?
17/8/2008 Huge revamp of the V12 Vanquish pages with the new website look and stacks of new pictures. Many many new pictures added too. Also revised pages with new pictures of the DB9 Sports Pack, DBS, DB9 coupe,
25/7/2008 Following some long flights and rail journeys, I've managed to start to give this site with a whole new look. The graphics and layout have been done by Johnnie Walker of http://www.randomsequence.com and I think it's a big improvement in both the way it looks and the way it works. It will certainly be easier to add new pictures which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. The first section is Gaydon VH - I expect the rest will take many months to update, but I hope you get the idea. If any bits don't work properly, please let me know.
7/7/2008 If the site looks a little different, it's because I'm experimenting with new graphics and layout. Give me a bit of time to get it right!

Two weeks to go before Le Mans, so I've had a refresh of the AMR pages in readiness. Le Mans 2008 preview, DBR9 Phoenix Racing, DBR9 Jet Alliance, DBR9 Gigawave, DBR9 Modena. For those of you that are members of the AMOC, you will be aware that I have taken  on the role of AstonMartin Heritage Trust Registrar of Cars. This is an enormous responsibility and it may be that I won't have so much time to put into this website - we'll see.  Slight revision to 007 DB5

17/4/2008 Since the start of the Sports car racing season is only a few days away, I've decided to stay with race cars and revise the N24 prototype page and the N24 page.
6/4/2008 New pages getting ready for the 2008 motor racing season. First pictures of the GT2 spec V8 Vantage and the AMR engined Lola LMP1 closed prototype

23/3/2008 New pages featuring the revised DB9 coupe and DB9 Volante
21/3/2008 Since we appear to be having something of an '80s revival now is obviously the time to revise the page covering that essential '80s AM, the V8 Vantage Volante

AstonMartins.com 10th Birthday

It's hard to believe but this website has been in existence for 10 years. So to celebrate the 10th birthday, I've got plenty of revised pages and new pictures to delight you with. Can I take this opportunity to thank every visitor for your support, without you, it wouldn't be so much fun.  DBAR 1, 2 litre Monoposto, DB4GT Special, Headlam Coupe, V550 Supercharged Vantage, V600 Supercharged Vantage, V8 Vantage Roadster, DB9 Volante, Gaydon V8 Vantage, Vanquish S, DB2/4 Mark II Fixed Head Coupe

So much has changed in 10 years, digital SLR's have replaced the film cameras, high-speed broadband has replaced the old dial up (I was stuck with that for 7 years) and little by little my knowledge has increased along with my photographic skills. BUT throughout the last 10 years, I've stuck to one very basic principle - that is wherever possible, to only use pictures I have taken myself. I've been very fortunate to have seen almost all of the key cars that AM have made, seen a new factory open and two others close, witnessed AM competing and winning again at Le Mans and travelled widely too. And for all those key cars I'm yet see photograph, I'll no doubt spend the rest of my life catching up with them one by one. It's a hell of a challenge, but someone's got to do it

Happy New Year   A real treat for 2008 - pictures of prototypes of the original Vanquish. I have sat on these pictures for a few years now but I'm sure that with the passing of the Newport Pagnell and Vanquish production, it's acceptable to now share these with you.
