DBS V8 Convertible by Banham

Aston Martin didn't ever offer the 6 cylinder DBS with convertible coachwork, perhaps because the contemporary DB6 Volante was such a fringe model in the range. This did not stop Paul Banham. His company, Banham Conversions (Banmoco) was well known for his cabriolet conversions on Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Daimler and Jaguar cars. The company also went on to offer interior kits, styling kits and kit-cars and were perhaps most noted for their stylish XJSS conversion on the Jaguar XJ-S. Sadly the company went out of business in 2004.

Don’t be fooled by the wire wheels on this silver car, it is in actual fact one of the DBS V8 conversions.

There is no firm figure as to how many DBS V8 were converted by Banham although at least four are known to exist as are another three six cylinder DBS’s.
