Although it was not a numbered limited edition, the Carbon Black was limited to just a single car per dealer, so they are really quite scarce and therefore desirable to enthusiasts.

In addition to the DBS coupe, the Carbon Black special edition was also made available for the DBS Volante complete with gloss black painted diamond turned wheels and piano black facia. I spotted just such a car at the AMOC Lime Rock event, 2010. The car below was exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011.
