DB7 i6 GTS II Coupe

(1998 - 1999)

The DB7 GTS II was the second of the special editions of the DB7 especially commissioned and built for Aston Martin Sales of Mayfair by the DB7 specialists and AM Heritage dealer, Car Care Works of Hertfordshire (also known as the Chiltern Aston Centre and the DB7 Centre). Now I cannot claim that any cars on this page are built to full GTS II specifications as this was influenced by customer requests, but they do illustrate some of the unique features of this special edition, especially the Vantage style rear light clusters. It was also possible for many of the GTS II modifications to be retro-fitted to the later DB7 V12 Vantage. The above illustrated to the left is a bit interesting despite it being an i6 to GTS II spec, it also has a DB7 Vantage nose cone and grille.

The photos below are mainly from a DB7 i6 GTS II Volante which illustrate some of the more detailed modifications of the package including colour coded window quarters and scuttle panel and the groove in the side rubbing strip. There were only three DB7 i6 Volantes converted to GTS II specification.

GTS II Specifications
