B&M Side Valve Saloon

This rare early Aston Martin was built with saloon coachwork. It was in fact the personnal property of Lionel Martin and this image shows the car outside an early Bamford and Martin factory in Kensington, London.

Sadly it appears that this car did not survive and was lost in the late 1930's. It appears to be the case that the most pre-war saloon Aston Martins have either been converted to open cars or destroyed completely which is rather a shame.
